Oklahoma Career Information System

The Oklahoma Career Information System is an easy-to-use one-stop shop for in-depth information about careers, career planning, education and training, resume writing, job search and more. When you're coming from OKCareerPlanner.com, you won't need a log-in to use the information in OKCIS. To create a portfolio and save information for your next visit, you'll still need log in credentials from your school, Workforce Oklahoma center or other subscriber agency or organization.


OKCIS Open to All Oklahomans: How to Enter

OKCIS entry used to require a login from Workforce Oklahoma, a school or other institution. Now it's open to all Oklahomans.

There are three ways to get into OKCIS:

Just browsing. If you don't care to save any information in an OKCIS electronic portfolio, CLICK HERE.  

Returning users. If you already have Username and Password from your school or Workforce office, enter them at http://okcis.intocareers.org/.

New users. If you would like to create your own electronic portfolio where you can build and save a resume, save assessments and store other information as you use OKCIS, enter your zip code HERE.

 

Career Exploration

  • Assess your aptitudes and interests with an array of outstanding tools.
  • Use the Reality Check tool to see how much income you need to support your chosen lifestyle.
  • Look up U.S., Oklahoma, and, in some cases, individual city pay ranges for hundreds of jobs.
  • Pick an occupation and see a brief video showing the job and the skills required.
  • Get details on work activities, working conditions, preparation, high school courses to take, hiring practices, demand outlook, advancement opportunities, and other information for thousands of occupations.
